Confusiored

I struggle against my adversary
called chaos by his foes
he trips me up with his random paths
and mocks all suff'ring from his woes

I struggle against this adversary
he dogs my ev'ry footfall
throwing my mind for a loop
with physics and love and he will appall

At times I think I have him pinned
held at bay and life is sorted out
then he appears to knock me off my path
holds me by the ankles and swings me about
he laughs and says, "and now it starts to get crazy."

I like the name, and the association between physics and love. I assure you, Chaos will use love to appall consistently throughout life. You will never get to the bottom of it. At least with physics, a concentrated effort in your brain can bring some understanding, at least for a while. But the human heart, not the mind, is the playground of love. And who can know the human heart? David said it was impossible in the Psalms. And yet we are called to love anyway, notwithstanding its inscrutability.
